Senior Content Marketer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Transform conversations with customers, executives, engineers, and internal experts into LinkedIn posts, case studies, ebooks, campaigns, and other forms of content.

• Simplify intricate concepts related to manufacturing, quality, engineering, and technical fields into compelling and accessible narratives.

• Take charge of both short- and long-form writing while preserving a unique and authentic voice that represents Axion.

• Leverage AI tools to ideate, expedite, and enhance content creation while ensuring high standards of editorial judgment and quality in human-generated work.

• Create content that spans the entire marketing funnel, from generating awareness to fostering consideration and engagement.

• Assist in defining and developing Axion’s content narrative, voice, and strategic approach from the ground up.

• Conduct interviews with customers and subject-matter experts to extract engaging stories, insights, and viewpoints.

• Collaborate with the Marketing team and company leadership to pinpoint valuable content opportunities.

• Report directly to the Global VP of Marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial roles, copywriting, or a closely related writing position.

• Outstanding writing and storytelling abilities across both short and long-form content.

• Strong skills in interviewing customers and subject-matter experts.

• Capability to comprehend and translate complex technical subjects for diverse audiences.

• Solid understanding of marketing principles, including audience targeting, positioning, messaging, and the marketing funnel.

• Experience in the thoughtful use of AI writing and productivity tools.

• Ability to work autonomously and create structure within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

• Experience in writing about technical, industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or complex B2B topics is advantageous.

• A portfolio or writing samples showcasing a range of skills, quality, and storytelling prowess.

• Must indicate whether visa sponsorship will be necessary to work in the United States.
