Senior Content Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of content creation and distribution, overseeing everything from writing and publishing to same-day dissemination, analysis, and automation.

• Determine daily writing priorities and the channels through which content is delivered, guided by the founders' vision.

• Create a variety of content types, including blog posts, research articles, essays, changelog entries, product update emails, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, dev.to articles, Hacker News submissions, Reddit content, Google Ads, SEO material, example repositories, and demo projects.

• Articulate events, news, research findings, and product features in alignment with Lingo.dev's positioning for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Conduct interviews with founders, engineers, and customers, transforming their insights into compelling narratives.

• Publish content on the company website and other platforms, while also contributing to the content playbook and overarching narrative.

• Maintain a consistent weekly publishing output and streamline repetitive tasks using Claude workflows, templates, and scheduled publishing.

• Oversee both organic and paid growth strategies across SEO, GEO, and AI visibility.

• Monitor citations, rankings, performance metrics, and advertising ROI utilizing tools such as Ahrefs, Search Console, and ad accounts.

• Analyze the effectiveness of content in generating signups, citations, rankings, or backlinks.

⛳️ Requirements

• You write clearly and concisely, presenting facts while eliminating unnecessary superlatives and vague sentences.

• You have a track record of publishing content that gained traction, such as a newsletter with genuine subscribers, posts that reached the front page, or technical content shared within developer communities.

• You possess enough coding skills to automate your workflow, including vibe coding, scripting, AI-assisted development, and the creation of scheduled distribution pipelines.

• You conduct interviews effectively, obtaining quotable insights and crafting them into narratives that align with Lingo.dev's positioning.

• You are capable of producing technical, specific, mechanism-first content aimed at engineers and can elucidate the workings of a retrieval-augmented system.

• You can write with precision for non-technical audiences.

• You utilize Claude or similar tools daily to generate content at scale, possessing informed opinions on prompting, output quality, and when to intervene or trust the process.

• You understand what resonates on Hacker News, what LinkedIn's algorithm rewards, and how to ensure content is recognized by AI systems.

• You are proficient in using Ahrefs or Semrush along with Search Console to extract rankings, backlinks, and AI citations.

• You are invested in the impact of content on signups, citations, rankings, and backlinks, and are committed to reporting these outcomes.

• Optional: experience in marketing to a skeptical audience.

• Optional: research or essays that have influenced perspectives within a field.

• Optional: experience in recording and publishing YouTube videos or creating content with AI video tools like Higgsfield or Hyperframes.
