This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead initiatives catering to state Health and Human Services agency clients
• Offer project management, IT system planning and procurement assistance, business process enhancement and analysis, organizational and operational evaluations, strategic planning, IT and data governance, workforce assessment and development, IV&V, implementation, as well as IT solution vendor management or oversight
• Direct and support the timely delivery of client services within budget
• Allocate and supervise staff while overseeing the creation of IT systems assessments, needs assessments, gap analyses, requirements traceability matrices, procurement documents, federal Advance Planning Documents, IV&V reports, and QA/testing documentation
• Formulate project strategies and work plans and coordinate task assignments
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to client executive leadership and other stakeholders
• Inspire and lead project teams while acting as a trusted advisor to clients
• Organize and facilitate meetings and interviews with client stakeholders
• Ensure service and deliverable quality in accordance with BerryDunn’s Consulting Quality Management Program
• Assist in staff development and contribute positively to the HHS team culture
• Engage in or lead training and professional development activities
• Report to the HHS Practice Area Lead Principal
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute
• Over 4 years of experience working with and/or for state government agencies
• Background in technology-related education, experience, and/or expertise
• Familiarity with state government HHS programs and services
• Strong focus on customer service
• Proven experience in leading project teams
• Willingness and ability to coach and mentor junior team members
• Effective project management and organizational capabilities
• Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Capacity to manage multiple assignments while delivering quality results in a timely manner
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Excel
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to client locations nationwide, with potential work in U.S. territories
