Senior Consultant – Workday Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Configure and implement Workday Benefits solutions, ensuring they align with client benefit plan structures and meet compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with clients to collect requirements, analyze their needs, and design solutions that adhere to best practices.

• Support and troubleshoot integrations with payroll systems, insurance carriers, and COBRA administrators.

• Assist in benefits testing cycles, including open enrollment and processing of life events.

• Provide guidance on compliance with ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other regulations related to benefits.

• Work closely with other functional areas to facilitate seamless end-to-end benefits administration.

• Help create documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for client teams.

• Stay updated on Workday releases and industry trends to suggest enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, particularly focused on Workday Benefits.

• Experience in configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Benefits solutions.

• Knowledge of benefits regulations (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA), plan structures, eligibility criteria, and data exchange requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail in both configuration and testing.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with clients and project teams.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team setting.

• Workday HCM – Benefits certification is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
