Senior Consultant – SAP MM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM solutions across procurement, inventory management, and materials management processes.

• Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to collect and document business requirements, converting them into technical specifications and SAP configurations.

• Support comprehensive Procure-to-Pay processes, which encompass requisitioning, purchase orders, goods receipts, goods movements, invoice verification, and vendor management.

• Utilize SAP Ariba to facilitate procurement transformation initiatives and its integration with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA systems.

• Configure and maintain SAP MM functionality, covering purchasing, inventory management, material master data, account determination, and valuation.

• Aid in the integration of SAP MM with FI/CO, SD, and WM/EWM.

• Engage in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), post-implementation support, and training activities.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within P2P, IM, and MM modules.

• Resolve functional, integration, and configuration issues.

• Create and maintain configuration guides, test plans, and user manuals.

• Keep up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and best practices in procurement.

• Be prepared to travel up to 80% depending on the project's requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP MM, procurement, or materials management consulting, encompassing both implementation and support.

• Strong comprehension of SAP MM and full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.

• Familiarity with SAP Ariba solutions and their integration with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.

• Practical experience in SAP MM configuration, including purchasing, purchase orders, goods receipts, inventory movements, invoice verification, and material master data.

• Solid knowledge of SAP integration with SD, WM, and FICO.

• Experience in functional documentation, testing, defect resolution, and data migration activities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• SAP certification in Materials Management, Sourcing and Procurement, or related SAP solutions is preferred.

• Preferred experience with SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, or SAP Business Network.

• Experience in discrete manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, or other manufacturing environments is a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA procurement features is advantageous.

• Experience with inventory optimization, subcontracting, vendor evaluation, and quality management processes is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery frameworks is desirable.
