Senior Consultant – Risk Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Act as an analyst on projects related to audit, risk assessment, control testing, and risk management.

• Execute fieldwork, assess controls, compile work papers, and generate client deliverables.

• Perform initial analyses and evaluations of operational units, business sectors, or controls.

• Conduct management walkthroughs and document procedures using narratives, flowcharts, and risk control matrices.

• Assess, design, and evaluate internal controls; formulate remediation strategies for risk and control deficiencies.

• Engage in planning processes, budget creation, progress tracking, and quality assurance.

• Enhance understanding of business operations and control mechanisms.

• Foster new client connections and strengthen existing relationships.

• Work collaboratively with CrossCountry and client teams to tackle business challenges and produce deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid understanding of risks and internal controls.

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory, or management consulting).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills alongside analytical thinking capabilities.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
