Senior Consultant – Payer/Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Analyze, assess, and evaluate intricate healthcare systems, operational workflows, and clinical/administrative needs.

• Enhance experiences for members and patients.

• Develop and deploy enterprise technology solutions utilizing Salesforce Health Cloud and the wider Salesforce ecosystem.

• Assist clients in care delivery, patient access, member engagement, and digital health strategies.

• Facilitate clinical and business discovery sessions.

• Map out healthcare workflows.

• Design process improvements with a focus on compliance.

• Create health data models.

• Provide comprehensive functional designs.

• Lead essential workstreams and manage specific project engagements.

• Act as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives.

• Design, configure, and implement tailored Salesforce solutions in both Payer and Provider environments.

• Conduct discovery workshops and convert healthcare operations into requirements, process flows, and technical designs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Coastal and client organizations.

• Exercise independent judgment on small to medium engagements or oversee significant workstreams in large enterprise transformations.

• Manage Salesforce administration, configuration, data modeling, data migration, and integration strategies.

• Facilitate alignment among clinical, administrative, operational, IT, and compliance stakeholders.

• Provide structured communications and value-oriented technical demonstrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of total professional experience, including a minimum of 2+ years in consulting.

• Direct experience in delivering technology solutions within Payer or Provider sectors.

• Hands-on experience with the implementation of Salesforce Health Cloud.

• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, including care coordination, patient acquisition, member services, or network operations.

• Active Salesforce Administrator certification is required.

• Preferred: Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional or additional Salesforce Consultant certifications.

• Solid grasp of healthcare data models and HIPAA compliance considerations.

• Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and APIs.

• Basic understanding of enterprise architecture, SaaS best practices, and multi-system data flows.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven ability to manage project deliverables, tackle complex healthcare challenges, and lead workstreams with minimal direct oversight.

• Must possess full-time permanent work authorization in the US.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• Willingness to travel with clients or project teams as necessary.
