Senior Consultant, Medical Affairs Strategy

📋 Description

• Cultivate client relationships by identifying client challenges, offering solutions, preparing necessary materials, and assisting with everyday inquiries.

• Facilitate business strategy through research, analysis, project planning, and ensuring team deadlines are met.

• Provide strategic insights and solutions that promote business growth and innovation.

• Assess market trends and analyze various business models.

• Assist clients in R&D strategy, commercialization, market access, and portfolio optimization.

• Contribute to client solutions and enhance process improvements.

• Perform research on therapeutic areas, regulatory environments, and competitive positioning.

• Examine market dynamics, pricing strategies, and access challenges.

• Evaluate data and client issues, offering insights and possible solutions.

• Make decisions within the scope of work and project, consulting senior colleagues on wider implications as necessary.

• Oversee workstreams in larger projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

• Manage approximately 1-2 projects while leading smaller tasks or workstreams.

• Mentor and support junior team members.

• Contribute to the creation of white papers, industry reports, and client presentations.

• Stay updated on emerging trends in life sciences and healthcare policy.

• Lead the creation of medical affairs assets and organizational strategies.

• Assist in the design and execution of processes, procedures, and operating models.

• Act as a trusted advisor for senior medical affairs and cross-functional leaders.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is required.

• 2-5 years of experience in management consulting, life sciences strategy roles, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Sophisticated presentation and moderating skills.

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Self-motivated and driven individual.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent organizational skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Reliable and adaptable.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite software, including Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Ability to function in a global environment with awareness of cultural differences and work practices.
