Senior Consultant, Integrations Specialist – IP.21, QTS, Coupa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee supplementary data source integration initiatives for enterprise clients

• Integrate operational, process historian, logistics, and procurement systems into a cohesive Databricks lakehouse

• Take ownership of ingestion processes, Bronze-layer architecture, and Silver-layer modeling across various enterprise systems

• Set up and manage Fivetran and ODBC staging methods for Aspen IP.21, QTS SmartData, and Coupa

• Design and construct Bronze-layer ingestion pipelines

• Develop schema-documented Silver-layer normalization models

• Create effective join keys and cross-system mappings, such as linking Coupa suppliers to JDE Vendor Masters and QTS rail data to JDE freight vouchers

• Collaborate with client operations, procurement, and transportation subject matter experts to validate data models and ensure alignment with operational goals

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in data engineering

• Strong proficiency in integrating diverse enterprise data sources and third-party SaaS APIs

• Experience in production environments with SQL, Python, dbt, and contemporary cloud data platforms (Databricks or Snowflake)

• Familiarity with specialized industrial, logistics, or ERP supplementary data systems, including process historians or supply chain platforms

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities

• Capacity to translate business operational needs into effective data integration architectures

• Must be located in the DMV area (Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia)

• Availability for a contract (1099) engagement lasting 4.5 to 6 months
