Senior Consultant – ICS/OT Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in architecture evaluations, tabletop exercises, and assessments within industrial settings.

• Conduct documentation reviews, gap analyses, site inspections, and data collection and analysis for networks/hosts.

• Contribute to the development of final findings and recommendations documents, deliver verbal presentations of findings, and respond to customer inquiries.

• Transform insights gained from customer interactions into research and innovation initiatives, including PCAP analysis, protocol dissectors, characterizations, and analytics.

• Create educational content for the Dragos customer training program.

• Design and lead infrastructure-specific tabletop exercises featuring detailed attack scenarios.

• Engage in exercises to demonstrate Dragos capabilities and impart knowledge for real-world attack responses.

• Assist pre-sales efforts by offering technical advice regarding customer engagement scopes of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of practical experience with ICS/OT systems.

• Deep understanding of industrial control systems, devices, instrumentation, and communication protocols.

• Experience in relevant sectors such as electric, oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing (e.g., pharmaceuticals, food & beverage), utilities, or other critical infrastructure domains.

• Capable of quickly grasping new concepts through formal education, self-study, or mentorship.

• Desire to remain informed on trends in OT, cybersecurity, and the wider industrial landscape.

• Proven experience in technical writing within a professional setting.

• Knowledge of SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security, managed service offerings, threat detection, and network monitoring solutions.

• Familiarity with system administration, Active Directory, networking, SSH, operating system hardening, and remote access methodologies.

• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while coordinating with distributed teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% both domestically and internationally.

• Successful completion of a background check is a condition of employment.
