Senior Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert at client locations, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs.

• Comprehend industry standards along with Red Hat's policies, procedures, and core values.

• Employ sound judgment to select suitable methods for obtaining solutions.

• Implement and integrate Red Hat's open hybrid cloud and AI solutions, which include Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat AI 3.5, and Project Lightwell security integrations.

• Work collaboratively with project teams and customer members to achieve timelines and objectives.

• Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including the management of tickets or bugs.

• Provide mentorship to customers and share valuable knowledge.

• Define and advocate for automation techniques, including Ansible Automation Orchestrator, automated vulnerability remediation, and Agentic AI workflows.

• Deploy solutions utilizing cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation strategies.

• Guide enterprise customers through the complexities of hybrid cloud architectures, automated vulnerability remediation, and Agentic AI workflows.

• Analyze customer infrastructure and business needs, making strategic recommendations and delivering secure, verifiable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience directly collaborating with enterprise stakeholders on infrastructure projects.

• A minimum of 2 years of advanced knowledge regarding Red Hat OpenShift.

• Familiarity with enterprise AI model serving and orchestration.

• At least 2 years of experience in IT automation tools like Ansible or Puppet.

• Extensive knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical documentation.

• Capability to study independently, learn rapidly, and implement new ideas effectively.

• A passion for open-source software, tooling, and automation.

• Proficient communication skills in both English and Italian.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Experience with VMware is an advantage.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus.

• Experience with GenAI in containerized environments, such as inference servers, vLLM, or llmd, is advantageous.

• Familiarity with public cloud technologies and providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is a plus.

• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, RHACM, Helm, Git, and Kustomize is considered beneficial.
