Senior Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead activities to gather requirements, including workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions with customer stakeholders.

• Facilitate conversations to identify business objectives, challenges, limitations, and success metrics.

• Document and confirm functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, assumptions, and dependencies.

• Convert business requirements into implementation-ready documents, including process flows, requirements, and user stories.

• Create current-state and future-state business process flows to pinpoint inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Utilize process flows to aid decision-making, align stakeholders, and steer solution design and implementation.

• Configure enterprise software in accordance with approved requirements and Accela best practices.

• Collaborate with technical, data, and integration teams to define, clarify, and coordinate technical requirements and dependencies.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure understanding of intent, constraints, and impacts.

• Advise customers on standard solutions and best practices while balancing business requirements, scope, and technical considerations.

• Work alongside Project Managers to manage project scope, identify risks, and facilitate decision-making.

• Assist in testing and validation processes, including UAT planning, defect triage, and resolution coordination.

• Contribute to go-live readiness by ensuring the completeness of configurations, alignment of business processes, and operational readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation in complex implementation projects.

• Experience in developing and utilizing current-state and future-state business process flows to promote stakeholder alignment and support solution design.

• Practical experience in configuring enterprise software solutions based on gathered requirements.

• Proven ability to effectively coordinate with cross-functional technical teams.

• Experience in documenting requirements using industry-standard methods such as process modeling, use cases, or user stories.

• Ability to conceptualize while paying close attention to detail in configuration and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to recommend practical, best-practice solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide both business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience working within defined project scopes and participating in change control discussions.

• Comfort in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder delivery environments.

• Desired experience in professional services or consulting; Big 5 consulting is a plus.

• Preferred expertise in government or public-sector domains.

• Mentoring or coaching experience is a plus.

• Desired experience in documenting and communicating cross-functional workflows for technical design and integration planning.
