Senior Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee structured activities for gathering requirements, including workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions with customer stakeholders.

• Facilitate conversations to identify business objectives, challenges, constraints, and criteria for success.

• Document and confirm both functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, assumptions, and dependencies.

• Convert business requirements into actionable artifacts such as process flows, requirements documentation, and user stories.

• Create current-state and future-state business process flows to pinpoint inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

• Utilize business process flows to align stakeholders and steer solution design and implementation.

• Conduct system configurations in accordance with approved requirements and Accela best practices.

• Collaborate with technical, data, and integration teams to define and manage technical requirements and dependencies.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure understanding of intent, constraints, and impacts.

• Guide customers toward standardized solutions and best practices while balancing business needs, scope, and technical considerations.

• Work alongside Project Managers to control scope, recognize risks, and facilitate decision-making.

• Assist in testing and validation efforts, including UAT planning, defect triage, and coordination of resolutions.

• Contribute to go-live readiness by ensuring configuration completeness, alignment with business processes, and operational preparedness.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation within complex implementation projects.

• Proficient in developing and utilizing business process flows (e.g., current-state and future-state) to aid stakeholder alignment and support solution design.

• Practical experience in configuring enterprise software solutions based on discovery requirements.

• Proven ability to coordinate efficiently with cross-functional technical teams.

• Skilled in documenting requirements using industry-standard techniques such as process modeling, use cases, or user stories.

• Capacity to think conceptually while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in configuration and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a talent for recommending practical, best-practice solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide both business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience working within established project scopes and assisting in change control discussions.

• Comfort in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders involved in delivery.

• Previous experience in professional services or consulting is preferred; experience with Big 5 consulting is a plus.

• Expertise in the government or public-sector domain is preferred.

• Experience mentoring or coaching other consultants is a plus.

• Familiarity with documenting and communicating cross-functional workflows to assist in technical design and integration planning is preferred.
