Senior Commercial Counsel, Enterprise West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in conducting legal negotiations with enterprise clients independently.

• Provide support to West Coast Area Directors and their respective teams.

• Offer general advice on subscription agreements, data processing agreements, partner agreements, and vendor agreements.

• Act as a key member of Optro’s growing legal team.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining Optro’s contracting procedures as the company expands.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders in sales, information security, and other internal departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of in-house transactional experience with direct interaction with customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives.

• More than 5 years of experience in negotiating SaaS agreements, amendments, and order forms with enterprise clients.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire contract lifecycle from NDA through to internal approvals and final signature.

• Outstanding organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in editing and managing contracts using Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple concurrent projects to completion.

• Adaptability to address unique challenges in real-time and discern when to involve others.

• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence.

• Background check required.
