Senior Commercial Counsel – Enterprise West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of legal negotiations with clients independently.

• Offer overall guidance on subscription contracts, data processing agreements, partner contracts, and vendor agreements.

• Focus primarily on Enterprise transactions.

• Provide support to West Coast Area Directors and their respective teams.

• Act as a vital member of Optro’s growing legal team.

• Develop initiatives aimed at optimizing Optro’s contracting process as the company expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of in-house transactional experience.

• Experience in direct interactions with potential customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives.

• At least 5 years of experience in negotiating SaaS agreements, amendments, and order forms with enterprise clients.

• Comprehensive understanding of the complete contract lifecycle, from NDA to internal approvals and final signatures.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in editing and managing contracts using Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks to completion within designated timeframes.

• Flexibility to address unique issues in real time and the judgment to determine when to involve others.

• Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence.
