Senior CMDB / ITOM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee the CSDM target model encompassing Business Applications, Application Services, Software Models, and Entitlements.

• Establish guidelines for promoting software models to business applications, as well as for data ownership, normalization, and management of duplicate records.

• Spearhead ServiceNow Discovery initiatives and pinpoint opportunities to enhance the completeness and accuracy of the CMDB.

• Direct Service Mapping and dependency mapping efforts, especially in relation to application retirement and modernization projects.

• Specify the data contract and integration framework between ServiceNow and the portfolio management system.

• Create CMDB/ITOM governance standards and work in collaboration with teams from Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Application, and Security.

• Facilitate the transition from an external Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool, positioning ServiceNow as the reliable source for application and service data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a CMDB Architect, ITOM Architect, or ServiceNow Architect.

• Comprehensive hands-on expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

• Proficient in CMDB data quality, reconciliation, normalization, and duplicate record management.

• Familiarity with application lifecycle, dependency mapping, and enterprise integrations.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• CIS – Discovery certification is preferred.

• CIS – Service Mapping certification is preferred.

• CIS – Data Foundations certification is preferred.

• ServiceNow CSA certification is a plus.
