This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, maintain, and secure the hosting platform for two distinct global SaaS products.
• Develop tools and services that enhance operations and improve the platform development experience.
• Define and advocate for cloud-native architectural patterns throughout the platform.
• Lead architectural decisions and conduct design reviews.
• Serve as the escalation point for intricate issues.
• Promote collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
• Design, implement, and manage a secure, scalable infrastructure for global SaaS services.
• Own service level objectives that support both internal and external SLAs.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and scalability.
• Enhance observability and monitoring across infrastructure, platforms, and services.
• Drive capacity planning and optimize cloud costs.
• Implement security and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Own solution design from analysis and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing operation.
• Evolve infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and progressive delivery practices.
• Minimize operational toil through automation, self-service tools, and standardization.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing Kubernetes in a production environment.
• In-depth understanding of software development methodologies and systems design.
• Experience in software development and managing large-scale SaaS operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues at every layer of the technology stack.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.
• Proficient understanding of Kubernetes networking, including CNI and network policy.
• Experience operating CDN, WAF, and DDoS protection services.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud services.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools, including Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Datadog, or other observability solutions.
• Fluency in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python or Go.
• Strong shell scripting abilities, such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Comprehensive understanding of ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Proven problem-solving skills and experience in collaborative team environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and adaptability.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
