Senior Cloud Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Regularly evaluate, design, and implement Red Hat's essential offerings, which include OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, RHEL, ODF, and Kubernetes-based technologies.

• Execute automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies, such as container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks.

• Act as a subject matter expert on-site, addressing various technical, developmental, or strategic IT requirements.

• Oversee problem identification, define system architecture, specify and design software, and manage testing and deployment of intricate open-source solutions.

• Adjust to evolving customer needs.

• Professionally respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions.

• Provide quality, timely, and in-scope deliverables on-site and after engagement, including project journals, status reports, and standard documentation.

• Engage in sales presentations, proposal discussions, and ongoing team account activities.

• Clarify the advantages of Red Hat cloud solutions while understanding customers' infrastructures and business requirements.

• Collaborate closely with customers on the architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of Red Hat cloud and container solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a similar derivative.

• More than 4 years of experience working with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies.

• At least 3 years of experience in scripting or programming.

• Understanding of system management practices, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds.

• Demonstrated experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat products is advantageous.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile (e.g., Scrum), Waterfall, and Incremental is beneficial.

• An Agile and DevOps mindset is preferred.

• Openness to study and learn Agile practices.

• Red Hat certifications are a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an added advantage.
