Senior Claims Specialist – National Claim Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations, assessments, and resolutions for moderately complex commercial general liability claims related to construction defects.

• Analyze policy coverage and assess exposure based on contractual obligations and legal precedents.

• Engage in settlement negotiations with claimants, legal representatives, and third-party entities.

• Maintain accurate internal records and comprehensive claim-file documentation.

• Work collaboratively with underwriting, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment and risk management.

• Recognize and escalate potential risks related to fraud or litigation.

• Foster open communication and clarify coverage decisions to provide exceptional customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in managing insurance claims within the property and casualty or specialty lines sectors.

• Proficiency in interpreting policy language and performing coverage analyses.

• Demonstrated experience in claim negotiations.

• Possession of a state adjuster license where mandated, or the capability to obtain it within a designated timeframe.

• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.

• Proficient in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

• Knowledge of state insurance regulations and compliance standards.

• Fluency in the English language is required.
