Senior Claims Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional claims service while anticipating client needs by fostering strong, genuine relationships.

• Utilize expertise in liability claims to handle complex loss situations.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve results that are consistent with policy and client expectations.

• Make well-informed decisions regarding coverage, claims valuation, and settlement options.

• Adopt a proactive stance in client service throughout the entirety of the claims process.

• Leverage knowledge to enhance claims data, reserve management, and payment issuance methodologies.

• Oversee Independent Adjusters and Legal Counsel during claim investigations, negotiations, and settlements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in both Personal and Commercial Lines policies, with a solid understanding of property and casualty claims.

• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in multi-line claims handling.

• Possession of a CIP designation.

• Prior experience managing a diverse range of liability claims.

• Experience in medical malpractice and Errors & Omissions is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to direct Independent Adjusters and Legal Counsel in the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims.

• Capable of effective communication in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

• Experience in working with London Markets under Delegated Claims Authority.

• Eligibility to obtain adjusting licenses in various provinces of Canada.
