This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a portfolio of supplier-to-supplier and New Product Introduction (NPI) source modifications through the CEM Source Change Process.
• Strategically plan and implement source changes while ensuring adherence to applicable GE processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Delivery, and Source Change leadership to enhance On-Time Delivery (OTD), execution excellence, and minimize source change lead time.
• Manage the designated source change portfolio with full accountability for OTD and supply continuity.
• Work closely with supplier teams and suppliers to ensure thorough planning and execution of source changes.
• Engage in SCM daily management and ensure that critical issues are effectively addressed.
• Serve as the primary point of problem-solving for manufacturing and readiness challenges associated with a source implementing an NPI.
• Utilize industry-standard project management practices for effective actioning, communication, and escalation.
• Implement FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to assist in team problem solving.
• Analyze data and leverage various internal and limited external sources to support decisions and recommendations.
• At least 10 years of experience in the aerospace sector, with a minimum of 3 years on the shop floor.
• Proven experience in project management, encompassing planning, execution, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Established ability to lead projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring that milestones, deliverables, and business targets are met.
• Experience in managing project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on effective execution and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in English at CEFR C1 level or higher.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required by business needs.
• Adaptability to work across local and U.S. time zones as necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Established track record of analyzing and resolving issues.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of FLIGHT DECK principles to enhance organizational efficiency and Standard Work, along with proven problem-solving experience.
