Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address intricate business challenges by utilizing data sourced from both internal and external channels.

• Offer valuable insights to key decision-makers.

• Gather, integrate, analyze, and showcase raw data from the organization.

• Develop insightful and actionable business intelligence.

• Shape departmental strategies through influence.

• Identify technical methodologies for various project elements.

• Acquire knowledge and achieve proficiency across multiple systems, policies, and tools.

• Operate during standard business hours in CST/EST.

• Report directly to the Business Intelligence Principal.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of technical experience in analytics, or a Master's Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

• Proficient in intermediate Python/PySpark within Databricks.

• Experienced in designing data models, taxonomies, or schemas, including versioning and conflict/precedence rules.

• Intermediate knowledge of Power BI and Power Apps, encompassing DAX, semantic modeling, and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with front-end UI development utilizing TypeScript (Angular or React) or Python (Streamlit, Dash, etc.).

• Commitment to stay in the role for twelve (12) months before pursuing other opportunities within Humana.

• Minimum home internet speeds of 25 Mbps for download and 10 Mbps for upload.

• Capability to work from a designated space without interruptions to maintain PHI/HIPAA compliance.

• Full-stack development experience linking front-end applications to back-end data repositories.

• Intermediate experience with Power Automate.

• Strong judgment in UX and information architecture for complex, expert-user applications.

• Proficient in interpreting healthcare-related data.
