Senior Business Consultant – Trade Promotion Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee large-scale, intricate projects or programs across multiple markets

• Utilize knowledge of consumer goods sectors and their commercial workflows

• Implement best practices and advise clients on enhancing their processes and solution utilization

• Conduct discovery and configuration workshops to gather client requirements

• Record decisions and designs using TELUS templates

• Set up TELUS TPM modules via the user interface

• Assist the global technical services team with interface design and testing

• Ensure the quality of solutions through internal testing and evaluation against configuration designs

• Aid clients during user acceptance testing and resolve issues or bugs

• Provide “train the trainer” sessions for client super users

• Facilitate go-live and cutover processes

• Foster strong customer relationships by comprehending their business needs and motivations

• Assist in the creation of customer SOW documentation

• Engage in projects from start to finish, including requirement scoping, solution design and configuration, documentation, best-practice implementation, UAT, and go-live support until transition to support

• This position is client-facing and does not include management responsibilities for staff

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering software implementations, including support during go-live

• Experience in client-facing roles, conducting requirements capture and discovery workshops

• Strong understanding of FMCG commercial and financial practices

• Experience in documenting requirements, design decisions, and implementation documentation

• Proficiency in configuring enterprise software through a user interface (such as trade promotion management or similar)

• Experience in providing training to end users or super users

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and conflict, guiding clients toward compromise

• Organized and proactive, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly

• Relevant business analysis certification is preferred

• Familiarity with managing a successful user acceptance testing phase is preferred

• Experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in sales operations, demand planning, or revenue management roles is preferred
