Senior Business Consultant – Revenue Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, lead, and facilitate initiatives aimed at enhancing Revenue Cycle Operational Effectiveness and performance improvements.

• Collaborate with operations, despite lacking direct supervisory authority over team members.

• Define project scopes, formulate project plans, and assist with the implementation of solutions.

• Initiate, execute, and oversee initiatives related to Revenue Cycle Operational Effectiveness, including research, quality assurance activities, and connected projects.

• Spearhead the development of training materials that promote operational enhancements.

• Act as an internal consultant and knowledge authority concerning Revenue Cycle matters.

• Utilize Lean methodology for process improvement, enhanced results, project management, and operational oversight.

• Create processes, perform workflow analyses, and aid in strategic planning and business plan formulation.

• Conduct operational research and root cause analyses in response to stakeholder inquiries.

• Work alongside operational stakeholders to craft changes that foster revenue opportunities and enhance patient experiences.

• Ensure the reliability, sustainability, dissemination, and application of industry best practices and benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in project management or process improvement is required.

• A demonstrated understanding of revenue cycle operations and technology is required.

• Prior experience with or implementation of Epic is preferred.

• A Master’s Degree is preferred.

• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies is preferred.
