Senior Business Analyst – UiPath

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the gathering, analysis, and documentation of requirements for system enhancements and upgrades.

• Establish the scope of sub-domains and compile entity lists, including business definitions, granularity, and priority levels.

• Align business processes with source systems and determine the system of record for each entity.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering leads to review Databricks/Snowflake catalogs and create mappings from entities to sources and datasets, including coverage assessments.

• Conduct subject matter expert (SME) interviews to extract use cases, capabilities, and detailed attribute requirements.

• Prepare Discovery readouts and obtain client approval.

• Manage the Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Requirement Document (FRD), and maintain a standardized attribute register with source arbitration.

• Serve as the functional authority for Data Engineers regarding business rules, granularity, hierarchies, and code sets.

• Evaluate System Test Traceability Matrices (STTMs) against signed requirements.

• Analyze change requests for potential impacts on scope.

• Define the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scope and business scenarios linked to requirements.

• Conduct UAT with business SMEs, assess defects, and drive their resolution with documented evidence.

• Secure UAT approval.

• Record any remaining open items and prepare handover documentation.

• Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• 6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• Strong experience in the Healthcare Payer domain is essential.

• Proficiency in UiPath is required.

• Ability to extract requirements for automation projects and translate business needs into technical specifications for Data Engineers/Architects.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and effectively prioritize a range of complex responsibilities.

• Strong data analysis capabilities with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
