Senior Business Analyst – Transportation and Tolling Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the BI/reporting workstream from start to finish as a reporting product owner.

• Conduct advanced business analysis for transportation and tolling projects.

• Create and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.

• Establish and manage business and reporting requirements.

• Operate autonomously while collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Work alongside SQL architects, developers, QA, operations, and client teams.

• Identify issues, gather data, and derive valid conclusions from both technical and abstract information.

• Assist in technology transformation, business modifications, and staffing services through Adaptation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in tolling or transportation back-office systems.

• Familiarity with the tolling or transportation sectors.

• Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and requirements management.

• Proficiency in Power BI reporting.

• Experience in tolling, transportation, or transaction processing.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.

• Experience using JIRA.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

• Experience with technical documentation.

• Capability to identify issues, gather data, and derive sound conclusions from technical and abstract information.

• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and documentation.

• Ability to collaborate with SQL architects, developers, QA, operations, and client teams.
