Senior Business Analyst, LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Spearhead collaboration with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to implement initiatives that align with product strategy and business objectives.

• Facilitate discovery sessions to articulate business challenges, desired outcomes, and measurable success metrics.

• Take ownership of refining requirements, which encompass user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Drive decisions regarding scope, sequencing, dependencies, and trade-offs.

• Create business cases that outline value, scope boundaries, assumptions, risks, and success metrics.

• Conduct value, risk, and dependency analyses for backlog refinement and roadmap planning while ensuring that Product Management retains ultimate prioritization authority.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to guarantee that requirements are testable and acceptance criteria are verifiable.

• Prepare for UAT and release validation tasks for execution.

• Track feature outcomes, defect trends, and customer feedback.

• Initiate corrective actions to enhance adoption, quality, and cycle-time performance.

• Maintain requirement and decision documentation to minimize rework and facilitate predictable delivery.

• Lead and mentor business analysts while enhancing team standards, practices, and tools.

• Engage in collaboration with customers, stakeholders, business analysts, product leads, and technical architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in business analysis, product analysis, or a similar role with increasing responsibilities.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that span multiple systems, teams, or business domains.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and backlog management tools like Jira and SharePoint.

• Capability to manage requirements throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.

• Expertise in overseeing end-to-end requirements governance, including traceability, change control, and decision documentation.

• Strong skills in cross-functional impact, risk, and dependency analysis.

• Proficient in SQL for data validation purposes.

• Ability to analyze application, system, and integration logs.

• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog for root-cause analysis and corrective measures.

• Ability to define test strategy inputs and acceptance criteria for initiative-level UAT and release validation.

• Proven experience in mentoring and coaching analysts.

• Demonstrated working relationship with AI reflected in daily tasks.

• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is advantageous.
