Senior Building Regulations – Compliance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate plans, drawings, specifications, and other documents submitted for consultant approval to ensure adherence to building regulations and relevant legislation.

• Conduct building inspections prior to and during the construction phase.

• Confirm compliance with regulations concerning public health, fire safety, energy efficiency, sustainability, and building accessibility.

• Engage proactively with design teams to pinpoint essential hazards and interactions with other designers.

• Organize project risk workshops.

• Contribute to SOCOTEC's ongoing success through consultancy in building regulations and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management.

• Experience in Building Surveying, Architecture, or Construction Management.

• Strong understanding of the legal framework governing building regulations.

• Solid knowledge of technical design, including commercial fit-out.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications.

• Capability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.

• A proactive, dependable, and adaptable approach.
