
Senior Braze Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the discovery, scoping, launch, and post-launch optimization phases.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for clients.
• Convert technical concepts into business-friendly terminology.
• Facilitate communication among account management, operations, and developer/engineering teams.
• Steer projects through governance while effectively managing time, scope, and compliance.
• Collect business, marketing, and technical requirements during the discovery phase.
• Design scalable data feeds, platform configurations, and automated campaign workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve client data feed issues utilizing documentation, platform tools, and peer expertise.
• Create guidelines for project scoping and estimating.
• Keep abreast of Braze updates, cross-channel marketing trends, and third-party integrations.
• Recognize recurring client request patterns and advocate for process or tooling enhancements.
• Develop, document, and promote Braze best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and offer constructive feedback.
• Over 3 years of hands-on architecture experience with the Braze platform.
• Proven experience in cross-channel marketing (Email, Push, SMS, Web Push, In-App Messaging).
• Previous consulting or client-facing advisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.
• A history of leading cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
• A resourceful and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.
• A growth mindset and dedication to continuous learning.
• Flexibility to meet company and client needs, which may include potential office attendance.
• Braze certification or similar platform credentials (preferred).
• Experience with marketing automation platforms beyond Braze, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or Klaviyo (preferred).
• Familiarity with data warehousing, API integrations, or BI/reporting tools typically used alongside Braze (preferred).
• Experience mentoring or managing technical consultants (preferred).
