This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Accurately generate and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on overdue invoices via phone and email.
• Confirm payment arrangements and escalate legitimate disputes as necessary.
• Allocate receipts and maintain detailed customer account records.
• Process supplier invoices and manage payments efficiently.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies that arise.
• Maintain the general ledger along with comprehensive bookkeeping records.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and coordinate with the external accountant or tax agent.
• Ensure accurate GST treatment for all transactions.
• Keep financial records audit-ready at all times.
• Prepare and sustain cash flow forecasts.
• Develop and manage budgets, reporting actual performance against these budgets.
• Identify and flag potential risks regarding cash flow and budget compliance.
• Oversee the daily finance operations, including reconciliations, collections calls, and reporting.
• Maintain proactive communication with Brad and Matt regarding financial outcomes.
• Seek clarification on unclear instructions or figures instead of making assumptions.
• At least 5 years of practical, full-cycle bookkeeping/accounts experience, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and BAS preparation.
• Proven ability to prepare BAS accurately and punctually.
• Demonstrated experience in proactively contacting clients to collect overdue payments.
• Experience in preparing cash flow forecasts and/or budgets, along with reporting actual performance against them.
• Proficient in Xero or a comparable cloud accounting platform like MYOB.
• Strong skills in Excel.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capability to meet recurring compliance deadlines consistently.
• Self-disciplined and able to work independently without needing prompting or supervision.
• Confident and professional communication skills, particularly in discussing financial matters with clients.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting with minimal oversight.
• Availability for 20 hours per week during AEST/AEDT business hours.
• Opportunity to work from home or in a remote setting.

• Working hours aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST/AEDT) business hours.
