This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead the digital delivery for AECOM's hyperscale data center portfolio.

• Implement and uphold project-specific BIM standards, execution plans, and coordination workflows.

• Develop and sustain BIM Execution Plans along with associated documentation.

• Manage project Common Data Environments, including folder architectures, permissions, metadata, workflows, archival processes, retention, and integrations.

• Facilitate BIM kickoff meetings with internal teams, enterprise-capabilities partners, consultants, and clients.

• Supervise daily BIM production by U.S. BIM personnel and enterprise-capabilities teams.

• Monitor quality, scope, schedule, deficiencies, non-compliance issues, logs, audits, and the status of deliverables.

• Conduct QA reviews, model inspections, clash and coordination reviews, model health assessments, and deliverable audits.

• Produce, modify, or finalize Revit model content as necessary to meet deadlines.

• Engage in hands-on Revit modeling, sheet setup, parameter population, and corrections across various disciplines.

• Establish and confirm shared coordinates, base points, survey points, and model coordination standards.

• Manage multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, issue triage, remediation tracking, and model health assessments.

• Oversee the lifecycle integration of 3D/4D/5D models and the submission of contractor/consultant models.

• Provide monthly reports on BIM KPIs, compliance metrics, and the status of deliverables; maintain dashboards.

• Develop and implement an automation roadmap utilizing Dynamo and Revit API scripts.

• Offer technical production support, create smart-object content, and develop templates.

• Deploy and support the Autodesk Content Catalogue/UNIFI.

• Assist with asset information management, digital handover, facilities management, and digital-twin environments.

• Contribute to BIM estimates and resource scheduling; track utilization and recovery.

• Facilitate training and certification, mentor coordinators and junior staff, document lessons learned, and share BIM best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 8 years, or a High School Diploma with 10 years in BIM/digital delivery, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience directly leading or coordinating multidisciplinary BIM work.

• Over 8 years of experience in BIM environments is preferred.

• Data center or mission-critical experience is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in coordinating, overseeing, and conducting QA for offshore/enterprise-capabilities teams.

• Strong hands-on skills in Revit across disciplines.

• Extensive experience with Forma, Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, ProjectWise, and project planning tools is desirable.

• Experience with Dynamo, Revit API, and scripting is required.

• Solid knowledge of NBIMs, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650 standards.

• Proficient in BEP authoring, QA/QC frameworks, and model lifecycle management.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and training.

• Interest or experience in integrating AI into BIM and digital delivery workflows.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Attendance at an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office is mandatory.
