This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead the digital delivery for AECOM's hyperscale data center portfolio.
• Implement and uphold project-level BIM standards, execution plans, and coordination workflows.
• Supervise U.S. BIM personnel and global enterprise-capabilities partners.
• Monitor project work to ensure adherence to standards, scope, schedule, and Level of Development/Information.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans along with associated documentation.
• Manage project Common Data Environments, including folder structures, permissions, metadata, workflows, archival, and integrations.
• Conduct BIM kickoff meetings with internal teams, partners, consultants, and clients.
• Perform QA reviews, model inspections, clash reviews, audits, model health assessments, and issue triage.
• Take initiative to generate, amend, or finalize delayed or substandard model content.
• Execute hands-on Revit modeling, sheet setup, parameter population, and corrections.
• Establish and manage multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection.
• Oversee the lifecycle integration of 3D/4D/5D models and model submissions.
• Report BIM KPIs, compliance metrics, and deliverable statuses on a monthly basis.
• Create and implement automation roadmaps utilizing Dynamo and Revit API scripts.
• Assist with smart-object content, templates, asset information management, and digital handover processes.
• Contribute to BIM estimates and resource scheduling.
• Participate in training, certification, mentoring, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Associate's Degree with 8 years, or a High School Diploma with 10 years in BIM/digital delivery, or equivalent experience and/or education.
• A minimum of 2 years leading or coordinating multidisciplinary BIM work.
• Over 8 years of experience in BIM environments preferred.
• Experience in establishing and enforcing BIM standards and supervising multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with data center or mission-critical experience.
• Experience in coordinating, supervising, and conducting QA for offshore/enterprise-capabilities teams.
• Proficient hands-on Revit skills across various disciplines.
• Extensive experience with Forma, Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, ProjectWise, and project planning tools is desirable.
• Experience with Dynamo, Revit API, and scripting is essential.
• Knowledge of NBIMs, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650 is required.
• Experience in BEP authoring, QA/QC frameworks, and model lifecycle management.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and training.
• Ability to foster accountability within distributed teams.
• Interest or experience in incorporating AI into BIM and digital delivery workflows.
• Must be available for in-person onboarding on Day 1 at an AECOM office.
