This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead the digital delivery for AECOM's hyperscale data center portfolio.

• Implement and uphold project-level BIM standards, execution plans, and coordination workflows.

• Supervise U.S. BIM personnel and global enterprise-capabilities partners to ensure adherence to standards, scope, and schedule.

• Monitor project work, identify deficiencies, drive necessary corrections, and escalate ongoing issues.

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans along with associated documentation.

• Manage project Common Data Environments, including folder structures, permissions, metadata, workflows, archival, and integrations.

• Facilitate BIM kickoff meetings with internal teams, enterprise-capabilities partners, consultants, and clients.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews, model inspections, clash reviews, audits, and model health assessments.

• Maintain logs of issues, audit results, and records of deliverable status.

• Perform hands-on Revit modeling, sheet setups, parameter population, and corrections across various disciplines.

• Create smart-object content and templates.

• Establish and facilitate multidisciplinary model coordination, clash detection, issue triage, and remediation tracking.

• Oversee the integration of 3D/4D/5D model lifecycles and contractor/consultant model submissions.

• Report on BIM KPIs, compliance metrics, and deliverable status on a monthly basis.

• Develop and implement an automation roadmap utilizing Dynamo and Revit API scripts.

• Deploy and support the Autodesk Content Catalogue and UNIFI.

• Assist with asset information management, digital handover, facilities management, and digital-twin environments.

• Provide contributions to BIM estimates and resource scheduling.

• Participate in training and certification programs, mentor coordinators and junior staff, and share best practices.

• Capture lessons learned and identify recurring deficiency patterns.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, OR Associate's Degree plus 8 years, OR High School Diploma plus 10 years, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in directly leading or coordinating multidisciplinary BIM work.

• Proven experience in BIM/digital delivery.

• Preferably 8+ years of experience in BIM environments.

• Experience in establishing and enforcing BIM standards while overseeing multidisciplinary teams is preferred.

• Strong preference for candidates with data center or mission-critical experience.

• Experience in coordinating, overseeing, and performing quality assurance on offshore/enterprise-capabilities teams.

• Strong hands-on skills with Revit across various disciplines.

• Extensive experience with Forma, Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D.

• Desirable working knowledge of SharePoint, ProjectWise, and project planning tools.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Dynamo, Revit API, and scripting automation.

• Strong understanding of NBIMs, NCIS, AIA, BIMForum, and ISO 19650.

• Experience in BEP authoring, QA/QC frameworks, and model lifecycle management.

• Strong capability in stakeholder management, communication, and training.

• Detail-oriented, thorough, well-organized, and adept at time management.

• Ability to foster accountability across distributed teams.

• Interest or experience in integrating Artificial Intelligence into BIM and digital delivery workflows.

• Note that relocation is not available.
