Senior Backend Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable and high-performance applications to facilitate browsing, searching, and conversion within the Real Estate sector.

• Perform code reviews for team members, ensuring adherence to best practices, code quality, and security measures.

• Generate technical documentation, including design specifications and postmortem analyses.

• Design and refine cloud-based system architectures capable of managing high traffic volumes and sudden traffic spikes.

• Collaborate actively with the team to define effective technical solutions.

• Provide constructive feedback and tackle complex challenges.

• Steer the squad's technical and business direction, aiming for high-value outcomes for both users and the organization.

• Engage in and promote continuous improvement across squads while maintaining a medium- and long-term technical and product vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Golang, or similar programming languages.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and cloud-based applications.

• Experience in developing distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.

• Proven experience in building highly available, scalable, and low-latency applications.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring of critical production applications.

• Practical expertise in Git, GitLab CI/CD, and containerization using Docker.

• Experience in e-commerce or large-scale classified platforms is preferred.

• Understanding of experimentation culture, A/B testing, and user experience metrics such as Core Web Vitals, conversion rates, and load times is a plus.

• Experience with architectures focused on search optimization, recommendations, and high-volume data processing is advantageous.
