Senior Backend Engineer – Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create and implement scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Work closely with Product, Frontend, and other engineering teams on system architecture and requirements.

• Enhance application performance, scalability, and security.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.

• Conduct code reviews and advocate for best engineering practices.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers.

• Continuously refine system design, reliability, and development processes.

• Contribute to infrastructure that powers Ox Security’s AI-driven software development lifecycle security platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in backend development.

• Active and skilled use of AI tools, including Copilot and LLMs.

• Extensive experience in building scalable, production-quality systems.

• Proficiency in Node.js.

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or Cloud Security domain.

• Practical experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
