Senior Backend Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the internal LLM agent framework with an emphasis on scalability, processing, and parallelism.

• Guarantee system observability and reliability by utilizing metrics, tracing, and monitoring tools.

• Tailor the framework for specific customer applications and collaborate closely with ML/NLP teams.

• Construct and maintain automated LLM evaluation pipelines.

• Design backend services utilizing Python and a modern cloud-native architecture.

• Engage in services, APIs, databases, and integrations with external systems.

• Work collaboratively with a small, hands-on, and technically adept team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of production experience with Python.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with async Python (FastAPI, aiohttp, or similar frameworks) in a production environment.

• Capability to troubleshoot issues across service boundaries.

• Strong product orientation, comprehending the "why" behind requests and making technical decisions that align with product and business objectives.

• Proficient in navigating ambiguity, quickly adapting to shifting priorities, and delivering results despite changing requirements and limited initial specifications.

• Willingness to leverage AI tools for daily development and troubleshooting.

• Experience with AI Tracing Tools such as LangSmith (a plus).
