Senior Backend Engineer, Experience Edge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of third-party integrations from start to finish, encompassing design, development, deployment, and maintaining enterprise-level reliability.

• Develop the platform’s reporting framework and foundational data model on a high-volume, cloud-based infrastructure.

• Spearhead cross-team initiatives alongside engineers from the Security team and other departments.

• Quickly grasp unfamiliar components of the system and address urgent production issues for clients.

• Collaborate with Product to address Requests for Enhancements (RFEs) and convert customer requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in the Customer Focus Group, which includes pre-sales discussions and real-time escalations.

• Manage features from inception to production while integrating direct customer insights into product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of direct experience in backend development.

• Extensive expertise in Node.js and TypeScript (essential).

• Strong foundation in modern data architecture, including MongoDB, Redis, and ClickHouse.

• Demonstrated end-to-end responsibility for features, from design to production, delivering production-quality code.

• Proficient in navigating large, unfamiliar codebases and making them your own.

• Excellent command of English, with a preference for customer-facing roles.

• A collaborative approach, exhibiting a habit of leading by example.

• Early adopter of AI technologies, with a keen interest in leveraging AI to enhance developer experience and system efficiency.

• Experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or products aimed at developers (preferred).

• Experience with Kubernetes in a production environment (preferred).

• Proven ability to influence and align engineers across various teams (preferred).
