Senior Backend Engineer, Experience Edge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of third-party integrations, overseeing the process from design and development to deployment and ensuring reliability at an enterprise level.

• Develop the reporting layer of the platform alongside the foundational data model on a high-volume, cloud-based infrastructure.

• Lead initiatives that involve collaboration across teams, bringing together engineers from Security and other departments.

• Rapidly grasp unfamiliar components of the system and address critical production issues faced by customers.

• Collaborate with the Product team on RFEs, converting customer requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Engage directly with customers during pre-sales discussions, live escalations, and through the Customer Focus Group.

• Manage features from the initial concept through to production deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of practical backend development experience.

• Extensive expertise in Node.js and TypeScript (essential).

• Strong foundation in contemporary data infrastructure technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, and ClickHouse.

• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of features, from design phase to production, delivering production-grade code.

• Proficient in navigating large, unfamiliar codebases and taking ownership of them.

• Excellent command of English and a passion for engaging with customers.

• A collaborative attitude with a tendency to lead by example.

• An early adopter of AI technologies, enthusiastic about leveraging AI to enhance developer experience and system performance.

• Experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or products aimed at developers (preferred).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes in a production environment (preferred).

• A proven ability to influence and align engineers across different teams (preferred).
