Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand the foundational AI infrastructure for a video production platform driven by AI.

• Create workflows powered by LLM, multi-agent systems, integrations, and backend services.

• Convert user inputs into effective video production pipelines.

• Design the interaction protocols for AI agents.

• Enhance the reliability and performance of the system.

• Explore and experiment with innovative AI functionalities.

• Participate in making technical architecture choices.

• Work in close collaboration with the product team.

• Shape the quality of the final user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Python development.

• Strong background in an asynchronous stack such as FastAPI, aiohttp, or Starlette.

• Profound knowledge of asyncio.

• Excellent PostgreSQL expertise, covering schema design, transactions and locking, indexing, and slow query analysis.

• Experience in designing REST APIs and webhook integrations, with a focus on idempotency, retries, and consistent error handling.

• Practical experience with performance profiling, metrics, load testing, and resolving bottlenecks.

• Regular use of Docker.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, specifically in deploying and debugging personal services.

• Experience in creating Helm charts for services.

• Consistent practice of writing unit and integration tests.

• Proven experience in taking features from design to production, including monitoring.
