Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct the backend of AI security products using Node.js and TypeScript across various cloud environments and endpoints.

• Take ownership of features from inception to completion, encompassing business requirements, architecture, implementation, delivery, and ensuring production quality.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams and engage directly with customers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

• Work in partnership with Product, Design, and engineering teams on intricate cross-company initiatives.

• Make and justify architectural choices in a swiftly evolving landscape.

• Establish technical standards through code reviews, design conversations, and exemplary practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical backend development experience.

• Strong, production-level proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript (essential).

• Demonstrated capability to design and implement solutions for complex, distributed systems.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, exhibiting high independence and the ability to manage various stakeholders.

• A proven history of taking features from requirement analysis to production-ready state, with high-quality code.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and rapid changes, with the discernment to recognize when to act quickly and when to plan for the future.

• Excellent command of English and effective communication skills within a fully remote team.

• Early adopter of AI technologies, with a passion for leveraging AI to enhance developer experiences and system efficiency.

• Experience with microservices architecture (advantageous).

• Background in cybersecurity or development of endpoint agents (advantageous).

• Experience in delivering customer-focused products in dynamic startup environments (advantageous).

• Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, or AI-driven product features (advantageous).
