Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct the backend for AI security solutions using Node.js and TypeScript across various cloud platforms and endpoints.

• Take ownership of features from inception to completion, encompassing business requirements, architecture, implementation, delivery, and ensuring production quality.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams and engage directly with customers to transform rapidly evolving business requirements into solid technical solutions.

• Partner with Product, Design, and other engineering teams on intricate cross-company initiatives.

• Make and justify architectural choices in a swiftly evolving landscape.

• Establish the technical standards for a senior team through code reviews, design conversations, and exemplary practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical backend development experience.

• Significant, production-level experience with Node.js and TypeScript (essential requirement).

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions for complex, distributed systems.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a high degree of independence and the capability to manage multiple stakeholders.

• Proven history of guiding features from concept to production with production-quality code.

• Comfort with uncertainty and rapid changes, along with the discernment to know when to act swiftly and when to plan for the long term.

• Proficient in English with excellent communication skills in a fully remote team environment.

• Early adopter of AI technologies, passionate about leveraging AI to enhance developer experience and system performance.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Background in cybersecurity or endpoint agent development.

• Proven experience in delivering customer-centric products in fast-paced startup settings.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or features powered by AI.
