Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and develop the backend of AI security products utilizing Node.js and TypeScript across various cloud environments and endpoints.

• Take ownership of features from start to finish, encompassing business requirements, architecture, implementation, delivery, and ensuring production quality.

• Collaborate closely with Product teams and engage directly with customers to convert rapidly evolving business demands into solid technical solutions.

• Partner with Product, Design, and other engineering teams on intricate cross-company initiatives.

• Make and justify architectural choices in a swiftly evolving domain.

• Raise the technical standards for a senior team through code reviews, design discussions, and exemplary practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on backend development experience.

• Strong, production-level expertise in Node.js and TypeScript (essential).

• Demonstrated capability to design and implement solutions for complex, distributed systems.

• High levels of ownership and accountability, with the independence to manage multiple stakeholders.

• Proven track record of guiding features from requirements to production with high-quality code.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and rapid changes, with the discernment to know when to act quickly and when to plan for the long term.

• Proficient in English with outstanding communication skills in a fully remote team setting.

• Early adopter of AI technologies with a passion for leveraging AI to enhance developer experience and system performance.

• Experience with microservices architecture (preferred).

• Background in cybersecurity or endpoint agent development (preferred).

• Experience in delivering customer-value-driven products in dynamic startup environments (preferred).

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or AI-enhanced product features (preferred).
