Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain backend services and APIs.

• Collaborate closely with Azure cloud services to ensure effective deployment and scalability.

• Perform testing, debugging, and resolution of software defects.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and system design processes.

• Write high-quality, efficient, and reliable code in accordance with best practices.

• Enhance backend system performance and scalability to accommodate large volumes of data.

• Develop secure, crypto-oriented products that facilitate payments and transfers.

• Work in partnership with Engineering and Product teams across North America, Europe, and India.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience as a backend Software Engineer, ideally in the fintech or crypto sector.

• Strong expertise in backend programming languages such as C#, Java, Scala, Go, etc.

• Good understanding of security principles including AuthN, AuthZ, SAML, API security, and encryption.

• Familiarity with crypto concepts like blockchains, RPCs, and self-custody wallets.

• Solid grasp of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.

• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
