Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications

• Utilize Java Spring Boot along with Microservices Architecture

• Harness Microsoft Azure cloud services

• Implement contemporary CI/CD practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in backend software development

• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture

• Comprehensive knowledge of Spring Core, Dependency Injection (DI), IoC, AOP, and Spring Data

• Experience with Spring Security, authentication, authorization, OAuth2, and JWT

• Strong understanding of Spring MVC and RESTful APIs

• Experience in deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps

• Experience with Azure DevOps and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines

• Extensive knowledge of API Management, Kubernetes, SQL, and Cosmos DB

• Understanding of OWASP security standards and secure coding best practices

• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with enterprise-scale systems and cloud-native applications (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in Agile working environments (Preferred Qualifications)

• Strong grasp of application security and performance optimization (Preferred Qualifications)
