Senior Backend Engineer – AI Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices along with backend APIs.

• Create RESTful and GraphQL services tailored for production-grade applications.

• Connect business databases, third-party services, and legacy internal platforms with AI systems.

• Enhance backend latency, throughput, and resource allocation for real-time AI applications.

• Implement enterprise-level authentication, authorization, RBAC, and rate limiting mechanisms.

• Establish secure service-to-service integrations across various cloud environments.

• Set up clean coding standards while maintaining high engineering quality.

• Write thorough integration tests and engage in code review processes.

• Collaborate with AI engineers to deploy models and services within unified containerized environments.

• Utilize Git, CI/CD, testing, and cloud engineering best practices throughout the delivery process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional experience in backend, platform, or software engineering.

• Strong hands-on development expertise with Python and/or Node.js.

• Demonstrated experience in building scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based applications.

• Proficient in designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs and microservices.

• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise authentication, authorization, and RBAC.

• Professional experience in integrating applications with cloud-hosted services, APIs, and data platforms.

• Strong development practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review methodologies.

• Fluent in professional English.
