Java Developer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or any related field in Information Technology.

• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline accompanied by a specialization in Information Technology.

• Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or later), CSD – Certified Scrum Developer, and PSD – Professional Scrum Developer.

• Familiarity with financial systems development.

• Understanding of agile software development methodologies, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, delivery, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.

• Proficient in version control systems like ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Ability to analyze and specify functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Awareness of design patterns, programming best practices, and enterprise systems integration.

• Experience with microservices architecture, API development, tracing, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.

• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of relational data modeling, SQL, layered architecture, and MVC frameworks.

• Experience in systems integration using messaging, JMS, web services, REST, SOA, EJB 3, and WebSphere Message Broker.

• Development expertise in responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).

• Proficient in Java Swing, Java Web, JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Spring, JSF, JPA, and Struts.

• Familiarity with JBoss, WebSphere, and Liberty application servers; experience with Quarkus framework.

• Understanding of multi-tenant application architecture.

• Experience with Linux and/or OpenVMS.

• Familiarity with SonarQube, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.

• Additional knowledge of languages and technologies such as JavaScript, ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP/.NET, MUMPS, Delphi, and Enterprise PowerBuilder.

• Proficient in software testing, test automation, JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.

• Experience with mock/stub development and interface virtualization.

• Skills in reverse engineering and CMT transaction management.

• Familiarity with ISO 8583, J/XFS financial technologies, banking peripherals, and cryptography.
