Senior Backend Developer – PHP, Go, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Convert business needs into well-defined system architectures and functional software.

• Create and develop secure, scalable backend systems using PHP, Go, or Node.js.

• Enhance and adapt existing systems to ensure sustainable growth.

• Construct secure systems that adhere to established protocols, providing genuine protection against common vulnerabilities.

• Design, develop, document, and integrate APIs for consumption by other teams and systems.

• Utilize AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) to expedite development while meticulously reviewing and validating all AI-generated outputs.

• Ensure that systems fulfill requirements through thorough testing, code review, and validation processes.

• Clearly communicate technical decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing web systems using PHP, Go, or Node.js.

• Extensive experience in API development and integration (REST and other styles), including documentation capabilities.

• Strong grasp of web security standards, coupled with practical strategies for preventing attacks.

• Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

• Practical experience with AI tools to support development, along with the discipline to review AI-generated outputs.

• Robust habits in testing and validating code.

• Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical decision-making capabilities.

• Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics for the team and stakeholders.

• A collaborative team member, open to feedback and eager to learn new technologies.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Residing in Thailand with the legal right to work there.
