Senior Back-End Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and deploy software solutions using Java, ensuring high quality and performance of applications.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and suggest effective technical solutions.

• Enhance and optimize existing systems while identifying areas for improvement.

• Engage in code reviews and advocate for best practices in development.

• Maintain documentation of processes and developed solutions to ensure transparency and continuity.

• Become a part of a Software Engineering team focused on Investments and Retirement Services.

• Create and manage robust, scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Java 25.

• Familiarity with test automation.

• Experience in developing web services and APIs (JSON or XML over HTTP).

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).

• Proficiency in container development (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).

• Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka).

• Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum, XP, etc.) and lean concepts.

• Understanding of information security.

• Knowledge of distributed and concurrent application development.
