Senior Back-End Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and implement software solutions utilizing Java, while ensuring high quality and performance standards.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and suggest effective technical solutions.

• Maintain and enhance existing systems, proactively identifying areas for improvement.

• Engage in code reviews and advocate for best practices in software development.

• Document the processes and solutions developed, ensuring transparency and continuity in workflow.

• Become part of the Software Engineering team dedicated to Investments and Retirement Planning.

• Create and sustain robust, scalable software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Java 11 or higher.

• Familiarity with test automation methodologies.

• Skilled in developing web services and APIs (using JSON or XML over HTTP).

• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Proficient in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).

• Knowledge in developing with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).

• Understanding of event-driven architecture (Kafka).

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, etc.) and knowledge of lean principles.

• Awareness of information security practices.

• Familiarity with distributed and concurrent application development.
