Senior Back-End Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and improve solutions utilizing Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot.

• Evaluate, develop, and test applications employing suitable methodologies and procedures for deployment.

• Design, integrate, and maintain APIs for system integration.

• Provide support for technical and functional decisions based on business requirements.

• Perform code reviews and enhance code quality, maintainability, and ongoing improvement.

• Document the entire process of code development.

• Prepare status reports and communicate potential issues to the Project Manager.

• Engage in technical meetings and project ceremonies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in programming with Java (JDK).

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Familiarity with architectural patterns.

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git or Subversion.

• Experience with open-source frameworks such as Hibernate and Velocity.

• Understanding of web applications and HTTP protocols.

• Experience with relational databases like Oracle and MySQL.

• Proficient in at least one integrated development environment (IDE) such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA.

• Familiarity with build tools like Gradle, Maven, or Ant, as well as continuous integration practices.

• Knowledge of ORM concepts or hands-on experience with implementations like Hibernate or another JPA provider.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
